If you’re experiencing symptoms such as fatigue or cognitive changes, or have been diagnosed with or are at risk of Vitamin B12 deficiency, we are here to help. Why is Vitamin B12 important?

Vitamin B12, or cobalamin, is a vital nutrient essential for maintaining a healthy nervous system, producing red blood cells, and supporting DNA synthesis and energy metabolism. A deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to a range of health issues, including anaemia and neurological problems. Symptoms may develop gradually and can include fatigue, weakness, pale or jaundiced skin, numbness, walking difficulties, mood changes, and memory problems.

What are the symptoms of B12 deficiency

Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause a range of symptoms that affect both physical and mental health. Common signs include:

  • Tiredness or extreme fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Pale or jaundiced skin
  • A sore, red tongue or mouth ulcers
  • Mood changes, such as irritability or depression
  • Memory problems or difficulty concentrating
  • Pins and needles (paraesthesia)
  • Disturbed vision
  • Unsteady movements or balance issues

The cost of the Vitamin B12 Injection is £35 and we won’t charge any consultation fees if you are not eligible

Common side effects

  • Mild pain or redness at the site.
  • Slight swelling or itching around the site.
  • Feeling of warmth or flushing
  • Mild diarrhea

Less common but possible side effects

  • Dizziness or headaches
  • Nausea and joint pain
  • Mild skin rash or itching elsewhere on the body
